Sewage mud is being processed to extract the proteins it contained by filtering the solids and combining it with a reaction enhancer and then putting them in an exploder which then turn the turd to artificial steak. Their final product is said to be 63 percent protein, 25 percent carbohydrates, 3 percent lipids, and 9 percent minerals. Researchers color the sewage-derived meat with red food color and enhance the its flavor with soy protein. People that have taste their final product says that it taste like beef.

The meatpacking industry contributes around 18% of the greenhouse gas emissions, mostly due to the release of methane from animals. The livestock industry also consumes huge amounts of feed and water in relation to the amount of meat that it yields, and animal rights advocates find the industry to be inhumane and cruelty to animals. This could be the ultimate recycling that solve many problems that the sewage overabundance, food shortage, and lessening green house gasses.

At this time, the price of the artificial meat is around 10 to 20 times the price of normal meat which is because of the added burden of the cost of research. Scientist hope to price them to be the same with actual meat. Aside from the cost, researchers acknowledge the psychological barriers for people to accept this poop burger if it will go commercial that knowing your that what on your plate used to be somewhere else which is very unlikely to be eaten. But they are hopeful that people will overlook the ugly details of the food's origins and enjoy it along with it environmental contributions and the fact that is much lesser calories than the real thing.

Basically it is a small version of the same food cycle that nature uses to provide us with the beef or other food sources in the first place. Add some energy from the sun, and your waste gets recycled into plants, which is then processed to be animal feeds, and when the animals are mature they would be back into burgers. This innovation is just a few sidesteps in the process.
